Now once you have surmounted this hurdle & have (presumably) gotten in to memo & read any memos for you you will run into one of two things:

"No further memos at this time, Save them?"

or

"No further memos at this time, Any outgoing?'

The. first prompt will occur after you have read 1 or more messages addressed to you. If you want to save them for viewing again type "Y" in answer to the 'Save them?" question, memos saved this way will AUTO-KILL in 7 days so be sure to read them again on a printer or write down the important parts of the memo(s) before your 7 days are up.

The second prompt will occur when there were no memos for you or none addressed to you were read (I.E. only "ALL" memos) Response may be either "Y" if you wish to send some memos or "N" which will exit from the main program. You may use a shortcut here if you wish, format is: Y,(User name) Example: "Any Outgoing?" Y J.SMITH use of this shortcut will bypass the next prompt.

"Send to:" Type in the name of the user you wish to send to this prompt is not printed if the "Y," shortcut is used (see above). if the user name is not found then "Invalid name, want a user list?" is printed, answering "Yes" or "Y" to this question will print a list of all known users (can be lengthy). There are a coupe of options that may be specified in sending to other users, format for options is: "Send to:" J.SMITH,<Option>" The following options may be specified.

C -- Confidential (Format: J.SMITH,C). Sends a confidential memo to specified user, when user runs memo the message you sent him will be preceded by the message, "Holding confidential memo from (Your name) Proceed?' This feature is in case you have a memo you wish to be read in private by by the recipient, I.E. if someone is Looking over his shoulder when he reads it he may type "N" or "No" to the prompt at which pont the memo will be skipped & can be read at a later time. Typing "Yes" or "Y" will cause the memo to be printed up just like a normal memo.

S -- Save. (J.SMITH,S) Formats the memo you send so that the recipient may save it on a printer for later enjoyment. Memos sent with this option are Paginated, Justified & formatted with "Tear Here" marks for those who can never tear paper successfully without sufficient guidance.
