HD tidbits from '75

Main models, (and production totals):
- XLH - 1,000cc, 4 speed, (13,515)
- XLCH - 1,000cc, 4 speed, (5,895)
- FLH (shovel) - 1,200cc, 4 speed
- FLHF - 1,200cc, 4 speed, (1,535)
- FL-Police - 1,200cc, 4 speed, (900)
- FX Superglide - 1,200cc, 4 speed, (3,060)
- FXE Superglide - 1,200cc, 4 speed, (9,350)

- LE - sidecar and chassis

Paint schemes:
birch white, vivid black, sunburst burgundy, sunburst blue,
sunburst/vivid orange.

Changes::

XLH & XLCH - First year for:
- new shifter linkage to put foot shift on left side
- new rear brake linkage to put brake pedal on right side

FL - First year for:
- two-cable throttle with return springs

SX & MX250's - Aermacchi:

Large bore version of the 2-stroke SX175's introduced in '74.

SX250: 270lb, 2.8 gallon, 56" wheel base, compression=10.3 to 1,
5-speed, 90 MPH, blue or black, 14,162 were built between 1975-78.
$1,142.

MX250: 233lb, 2.2 gallon, 57" w.b., compression=11.8 to 1, orange, 87
built.

The MX was a motocross model, while the SX was intended for dual purpose street and field.
