HD now sold the Sprint.

bore/stroke, 8.5:1 compression, 18hp @ 6,750rpm, Dell'Orto carb, 4
speed, Helical gear primary, coil/point ignition, 52" wheelbase, 4
gallon fuel, 2qt oil, 75mph, $690, [I don't have production info].

Another emblem change - 4 point star with "Harley Davidson" stamped bar.

Panhead changes:
The major change is the entry of the single fire ignition system,
Manual advance dual point timer using 2 sets of contact points and a
single lobe points cam where each set of points had its own condenser.
The left flywheel got a rear cylinder timing mark midyear, and pushrods
were designed with a longer main body and shorter pressed in bottom
section.

MoCo Minutes:

-Carroll Resweber wins AMA Grand National Championship and the 50-mile National race.
-Roger Reiman on a KR wins Daytona 200-Mile Expert.
